Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my web site.

I am a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Frederick, Maryland. Prior to studying acupuncture, I was a scientist at the National Cancer Institute. With a doctorate in physiology and a masters degree in acupuncture, I believe I bring a unique blend of Eastern and Western perspectives on health to my practice.
Acupuncture is a powerful system of medicine. Practiced for over 3000 years, the benefit of acupuncture treatment is well documented in western medical journals and it is widely used in medical institutions across the United States. Because of the relatively low cost and noninvasive nature, acupuncture has become a highly popular form of complementary health care.
